Grems: Meeting with a Chat Con

Graffiti artist, graphic designer, rapper, producer, label director, hyperactive, self-taught man: impossible to categorize Grems. The first documentary about this rare bird is following him at a critic point of his evolution. Whether he is well-none as a graphic-designer, his rap work is more restricted, which he is determined to resolve during the year. From graffiti performances to concerts, we discover his microcosm, a creative and off-the-wall world, populated by eccentric characters such as rappers Disiz, Tony Truand, Son Of Kick, Foreign Beggars, Opolopo, Greg Frite, Lefto, Le TT Crew…

Since 1998, he makes a name for himself in musical underground. Simulteanously, he exhibits his work worldwide: Paris’ Centre Pompidou, Laboratori Arte Alameda in Mexico, Beijing’s Galerie Parcours, Stolen space in London… In 2007 he realizes Imagin’R campain for RATP (transport company in Paris), works with Nike, Artoyz, Oxbow, makes the covers for magazines as Graffiti Art, l’Humanité, Voice…
In 2009 he creates three watches for Swatch, which are worn by both Minister of Culture and Prince of Monaco.
The same year, his first monograph comes out. Since then, Toyota, Volvic, Scott, Philips are fighting for his talent…
