Taking the Plunge

The 1950s, in the midst of a polio epidemic.
John, a young athlete, is condemned by the negligence of his school principal, who assures him that his beloved Olympic-sized pool is perfectly safe. With no recourse, John shows great resilience and builds a new life for himself.
Today, his son Jonathan questions him.
