The Experiment

Camille (25), an anthropology student, has trouble recovering from her recent breakup and is abusing anxiolytics. One evening, as she is at the verge of breaking down, she goes to her best friend, a neuroscientist, for help. Touched by her distress, the friends finally accepts to try on Camille the experiment she is working on: a revolutionary device to treat anxiety.

Former biophysical researcher, Aurélien Peilloux likes to question the links between science, ethics and creation. His first short, “Les Chercheurs”, was part of the Cinéfondation selection (Cannes 2015). He has then been selected at the prestigious workshop Emergence for his feature project “Les Songes Magnétiques”, produced by Delante. “The Experiment” is co-developed with Delante.
